Last night Ricky and I were in a different part of town for my doctor's appointment. While we were there we decided to scope out the local fish stores. We ended up bringing home a Green Zoos Polyp cluster on a small rock for $25. It's the most beautiful shades of purple and green.

Anyone else have Polyps? If so, what type?

I just saw a picture of them tonight in DR Fosters.very pretty. We finally got new glass tops and differant lighting for ours.My Son says we finally try some frags in the tank.Gotta do some reading up on them  first though. i am so impatient. That is what attracted me to salt in the 1st place, all the different corals.

Ricky loves the corals too. We have seen some pretty amazingly beautiful set-ups.

I didn't know lionfish were compatible with reef tanks.

Hmm,never really thot about it.the tank he is in,I guess was her house tank,at one point, but she moved it to her shop to show it off.its not completely reef, but mostly.don't know, but he is there and has been for quite awhile. we have been going there for over a year.Hes very mellow, never bothers the others.Next time we go down,Ill try to get some pictures. I think we are going "fishing" this weekend.

I've usually seen them in the more desolate hard coral tanks with fish such as puffers, large triggers, moral eels, etc. I suppose they could be compatible with reefs if most of the fish in it are larger. Some guy at the pet store was telling the employees that he didn't want his lion fish any more because it ate his clown fish like right away.
