There's a creek about a half mile from where i live, that ive been too, and if you go far enough in, there are a ton of little frogs hoping around in the water. There fun to try to catch, but really hard. Ive only been through there once but it was cool.

I had a little creek near my house until I moved.  In the spring or summer, what ever time they mate, there is literally so many tadpoles that the water is black.  It's crazy, I never saw so many in my life.  A side note we got the occasional salmon too, that guy must have had one long journey.

I was walking through the woods the other day at a park near my appartment and in one section all you could hear was thousands of frogs croaking.  I never heard that many frogs in my life in one area.

There was a creek by my old house that had a bunch of little flogs living in it. They were hard to spot because they were tiny and camoflaged, but occasionally me and my friends would be out there and spot a tadpole and end up capturing it and bringing it home in a discarded drink cup or water bottle. I never actually managed to raise one to adulthood, though, they always ended up befalling some misfortune... usually caused by the raccoons. We also had some interesting encounters with leeches done there. *shudders*

Oh I really despise leeches, we had a creek with small ones.  One time I was vacationing in Maine and there were huge leeches.  But there were also turtles and crayfish, which I liked.
