I was watching a show about them the other night on animal planet and they are really interesting snakes.  I didn't know that they preferred to eat other snakes.  I think it is kind of odd that a snake will eat another snake.

Another thing is some guy was catching them in the wild and releasing them far away from the towns.  One was huge, they said he has been bitten so many times by the cobras that he is now allergic to the anti-venom... so he can't get bit again, but he still catches them.  Talk about putting your life on the line.

Oh another interesting fact they talked about was their superb digestive system.  They digest almost everything that they eat, bones and all.  After all is digested they said all that will remain usually is just a few scales.  Talk about efficiency.

WWW

All snakes digest food this way. There are also other snakes that eat snakes like kingsnakes which are not poisonous but they are immune to other snakes poision. There is a guy who lives near me that keeps venomous snakes and he started out by injecting himself with small ammts of venom at a time and now he is immune to the snakes venom and can handle most of them without any fear of being bitten. His hands are quite deformed from all the experiments, but it's still neat.
