ingredients
- blob of extra virgin coconut oil
- one egg
- two cubes of frozen bloodworms
- frozen shrimp tails
- a dash or two of spirulina powder
- a dash of wheat grass powder
- a pinch of ground cuttlebone and eggshell

Julia Crab, of epicureanhermit.com, recommends feeding your hermit crabs an egg once a week:
Quote
Hermits, like every other creature, require some cholesterol in their diet in order to be healthy. I offer my crabs egg once a week to ten days. The best thing about making egg for crabs is that you actually want to leave bits of shell in the food, so you don't have to work so hard preparing it.

every sunday, i try to prepare the hermies a free-range egg (healthier birds - thicker shells - better nutrients for crabs). sometimes i soft-boil the egg, sometimes accidently hard-boil it (lol), and sometimes i like to make scrambled concoctions. the nice thing about cooking one egg is i have enough for four servings, two go in the dishes, two i freeze for a another day when i don't have time to prepare it fresh.

We eat a lot of eggs at our house, so the hermit crabs get lots of egg scraps. We cook with hermit crab safe foods, so it usually isn't a problem.

Egg is good.

My diet has gotten a little healthier since I got hermit crabs. Over the past two years or so I have been changing what I eat to fit my hermit crabs, so more fruits/vegetables, eggs, peanut butter (it actually encourages your body to burn its own fat, so it's good to eat a little bit every day), and other such healthy crab-safe foods.

Eggs are really good for Sugar Gliders and other small animals, too. Great protein Smiley Mmm. I love eggs. Tasty

Goodness... I don't eat that well!
Lol me either, it's funny I worry more about my pets diet than my own.
