I am not sure why, maybe it's just more effective, but Baytril is the antibiotic of choice for small animals and rodents for all of the vets I've worked for.

I'm really glad Sierra seems to be doing better Talon. Good work.

Why's that? Have you have problems with the effectiveness, or the application?

It's very strong and I do know that if you give it to your pet a lot, they can build a resistance to it.

WWW

i think it works great, but they usually get upset tummies, and they stop eating, so then you have to force feed them, and if i remember correctly..it does something to the bacteria in the bodies.. even the good bacteria..

but i have a friend whose chin actually liked it... lol.. wouldn't that be nice.. not to have to fight to give your baby medicine

When I was giving the Baytril to Sierra I didn't notice any health side effects. She would eat her smashed up wet pellet mixture and her poo was of normal consistency.

Maybe it has to do with how much they are getting or possibly just varies from chin to chin. Sierra was getting 6 units of an insulin syringe, not sure that is the correct form of measurement, twice a day.

WWW

i know it makes my guys not eat, and i always heard, except for a very few, that most chins won't eat while on it..

now i've only had them for about 5 years, but going by what everyone else has said in other forums.
