The movie started at 7 pm yet here I am at 8:50 pm writing this. So that can't be good news right, well you are correct. The movie made it to about 15 mins in before the projector crapped out. The attendants told everyone that they would be fixing it and it would take about 5 mins to complete. They offered anyone who wanted to leave a refund, which was no one. The theater was full by the way.

So we figured 5 mins, that's not so bad. Then the movie started up again, the video was fixed before the audio. We missed maybe a line or two of dialogue. Okay whatever as long as it's running again I'm happy. But about 10 mins later it went down yet again.

This time they told us we could go see it in 3D in the regular theater, and recieve a free imax ticket. Or we could just get 2 free imax tickets. Not wanting to see it in the regular theater we opted for the 2 imax tickets.

I have seen a lot of movies in my lifetime but I never experienced anything like this. For $14 a ticket, that wasn't quite what I was expecting. The movie was just starting to get good too. The last scene I was able to watch.

Now, I have to wait until next tuesday to go see it again. Talk about a huge cliff hanger, the only difference is I know the rest of the film actually exists. Grrrrrr!  Undecided

That sucks big time. I've already seen in it not-3D, and everyone I know including my husband has seen it in 3D already so now I have to go see it in 3D alone!

Well this time the trip was successful, well worth the wait. The movie is amazing, the imax 3D experience was superb. And the $1 small popcorn you can't beat that, haha.

The environments on Pandora are absolutely beautiful and the action is intense. This movie will be a day one bluray purchase. Even though I don't have a bluray player. I'll have to go raid my parents house, lol. Avatar gets a 5/5 from me.

I'm sure someone would gladly watch it again.

Not watching Avatar in 3D is like watching tv in black and white.

Avatar topped Titanic for Worldwide Box Office! Finally someone beat that movie! Titanic is still in the lead for USA box office but it might beat it.

I really liked just looking at Neytiri. Haha, I know she's fictional, but she's really pretty. Hope that doesn't make me weird. Other than that... I liked when he tamed the bird thing, and pretty much the scene where he's learning the Na'vi ways and they're in the pretty jungle and stuff.
