I was a PetSmart today buying kitty litter and I always check out the adoptable cats. I guess one of the cats has been there so long that they waived the adoption fee. I don't know how often they do that but if I didn't already have three cats I would have taken him. I felt so bad that he hasn't found a home. It sucks to see so many pets needing rehoming, I can only do so much to help.

Wow and i find petsmart cats get adopted pretty fast around here which makes you feel really good that people are adopting adult cats. Never saw a fee waved on one before.

Good point, maybe that's why he was there. I bet they were hoping he would be adopted quicker there than being in the shelter.

At the Petsmart by my parents' house, they had a couple of rats there that the employee claimed had been there about a year at least. I took my sister to go look at them (she's a rat guru) because she wanted a new one, and they gave her the rat AND all the supplies it needed, cage and all, for free. Amazing huh!

Wow, that is crazy! I would have never pictured them doing such a thing.

I would be like are you sure? I'm not going to get tackled by security once I leave right? Lol.
