When I went home for Memorial Day I didn't plan on working on the fish tank but it needed it badly. The Java Fern in there was monstrous. I'll post about that separately because I found something quite interesting had taken place.

Onto the re-scaping, I should have took before photos because it was a jungle in there. You couldn't see much at all in the tank, well the bottom half of it.


Here is a shot about half way through the rescaping.


From here on this is the final look, sorry about the bit of algae that's there.


To give you a visual, imagine the really tall Java Fern in the back. Before I started it was that height touching the front of the glass to the back of the tank, and much denser!


And a shot of my newly renovated Pleco cave. My Bristlenose Pleco spends the day under that cave so I rearranged the rocks making it much more roomier for him. The fish that you can kind of see under the rocks is a Bronze Corydora.
