I was at the zoo the other day, it was a spur of the moment type of thing and there was a peacock just roaming the grounds. So I started thinking do people actually keep them as pets? I'm not sure if thats even legal.


Well maybe not roaming currently but potentially he could be.

I knew someone a long time ago that had one on his farm. I was a little girl and he let me have a feather haha. I think he was an acquaintance of my dad's or something.

We used to have a pet peacock Smiley Not terribly cuddly, but fairly well behaved, and nice to look at! Never bit me like our goose did. Tongue

Note to self avoid getting a pet goose, lol. Are the peacocks hard to take care of?


Also that pond is amazing! I wouldn't mind having one like that someday.

Lol trust me you will never get close to a pond like hers. Her pond was featured in a magazine and an artist painted pics from her pond for his work.
