I stopped in my local pet store the other day to buy cat food. Even though I was in a hurry I always have to look at all the animals. One particular thing caught my eye this time, it was a freshwater catfish of some kind. They tiger like pattern was really cool, and it had sharp spines that they covered with a green mesh. Luckily, I was able to take a few photos with my cell phone. There was no label on the tank and no one was nearby to ask. Maybe someone can help me identify this guy.

The first photo was really bad I was holding the bag of cat food in my right hand and taking the photo with my left. I figured another view maybe helpful even though it's not the best.

This is a much better one after I set the food down and was able to steady the phone.

Slow here lately Undecided  anyway that was joke about the google thing cause if you type in the fishes name there are only about 12 pictures of it on google images so there is no way in the world you would find it without knowing it.

Wow, that was quick. There really isn't too much information about the Barred Sorubim. I guess they get to be about 3 feet long and weigh 29 pounds, not too sure how reliable those pages were though. I hope the person that buys it has a really big tank, it's about a foot long right now.
