31 macaws were pulled from horrible conditions at a breeding facility, and moved to a fantastic parrot rescue called project perry for recovery. the court systems fails big time, however, as they've decided to removed these macaws from project perry's care and ship them down to ANOTHER breeding facility for fostering, and then in 18 months these birds will be returned to their abusive owners. WHAT?

the gabriel foundation, which is a well-known parrot rescue and sanctuary, is involved in moving these parrots from more then exceptional conditions at project perry to some already 1,000+ bird mill in florida. they were loaded into a moving van with no climate control and no ventilation to endure a 13 hour trip. and mind you not all of these birds have fully recovered from their abuse.

Wow that is crazy, I have a feeling that the court doesn't understand how badly they messed up. I wonder if there were any casualties during the trip. Sad

It's hard for me to believe that there was any type of logical thinking process when they made their decision.
